Boquete Jazz Festival

Outside Jazz Band se originó como un trío en septiembre de 2007 como una idea que nació por el pianista y director de orquesta, Delgado Quelvin Hartmann, quien se unió el bajista, Orlando Saldaña y el baterista, Jonathan Arauz. En octubre de 2008, el grupo se convirtió en un cuarteto cuando se les unió el saxofonista y flautista James Ariel Gutiérrez (Titi).Además de los estándares de jazz, funk bossa nova, R & B, ritmos afro-cubanos, blues, swing y las baladas, el grupo realiza algunas canciones originales. El cuarteto ha tocado en el 2009 Festival de Jazz de Boquete, Días de las Artes, organizado por la escuela UNACHI de la música, así como varios conciertos en todo Panamá. Estamos encantados de tener a regresar como parte del festival de 2010.

Outside Jazz Band originated as a trio in September 2007 as an idea born by pianist and bandleader, Delgado Quelvin Hartmann who was joined by bassist, Orlando Saldana and drummer, Jonathan Arauz. In October 2008 the group became a quartet when they were joined by saxophonist and flutist, James Ariel Gutierres (Titi).

In addition to jazz standards, bossa nova, funk, R & B, Afro-Cuban rhythms, blues, swing and ballads, the group performs some original songs. The quartet has played at the 2009 Boquete Jazz Festival, Days of Arts organized by the UNACHI school of music, as well as various concerts throughout Panama. We are delighted to have them return as part of the 2010 festival.
